That Guy
hey gang! knives here. this is my website!
I'm a trans dude in my late 30's who has always lived by the beach and in the swamps of the eastern US.
I'm not really interested in laying out my whole deal, but I can divulge a little:
My interests are varied but I love video games of the simulation and farming variety, as well as many Nintendo games. Big Zelda fan. I just got into VRChat. I've tried to play multiple card games but it hasn't caught yet. I love TTRPGs, and have written some related stuff for that, but I'm very shy of sharing my content. I'll make another page for that okay!!!
My love for music is also varied and enduring, I really do enjoy a little of everything. A few genres I love are EDM, Vapor and Retrowave and nu metal (again, I'm a man of the era). I'm a recent convert to metal as a whole due to my lovely boyfriend being a huge metalhead who lives where he's a local celebrity basically for going to metal shows (love u Tjesje). It's made an amazing impression on me and I am slurping it up. I really enjoyed symphonic metal and bands like Nightwish from a young age, so getting into Gojira is not a huge leap, it's just one I never made.
What's The Deal With This Website?
I've been active on the internet since I was about 9 years old and my parents first purchased a computer. A lot of my early internet experiences were in the peak 90's and early 2000's era that everyone tries to emulate now! What a time to be alive. In my day, it took 15 minutes to start up the internet like an old clunker car, and you were EXCITED it was there. Now you can't escape the internet - not really.
I really miss those days of putting together sites that sparked my imagination and worked my little brain and gave me a place I could be proud of that was mine! I see folks making some incredible sites nowadays with the CSS and HTML available and it blows me away.
Keep going!!!!! We can make a better internet!!!!
My own knowledge of CSS and HTML is pretty limited and tough for me to hold in my brain unless I'm using it currently, so I'm hoping to keep this as a steady thing, at least until I get it to where I want it.
More later maybe, but that's all for now!
